On Giving Day, We Raised Nearly $55,000 for Workforce Development Programs
We are thrilled to report that the Future is Working Giving Day was a huge success for Oscar & Ma, as well as the other Nonprofits that participate.
On March 23, 2023, seventeen Orange County nonprofits got together for 24 hours of giving. Oscar & Ma exceeded our $50,000 goal, raising nearly $55,000. all together, the Organizations raised approximately $480,000.
Thank you to everyone who participated by donating, sharing posts, and cheering us on.
Your ongoing support helps us continue to expand our Academy program, allowing trainees to work one-on-one with business mentors, learn business skills, and grow personally and professionally.
In addition, support services are provided including logistical help (transportation support), professional wardrobe, and career assessment training.
The expected outcome for each trainee is to obtain and sustain full-time employment in order to establish financial independence.
We are very excited about the work that we do at Oscar & Ma, and we have big plans for the training academy in 2023 and 2024.
