Oscar & Ma would like to send a heartfelt thank you to our partners and clients in 2023. We've had a wonderful year of growth, and we've expanded our mission to provide job training for underserved communities in Orange County.
Here are some highlights of our clients and partnerships in 2023.
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of OC & the Inland Empire
In July, Oscar & Ma managed BBBS's Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. BBBS is the preeminent one-to-one youth mentoring organization in the United States.
CalOptima
In November, Oscar & Ma signed a 5-year contract with CalOptima to provide job training and life-skill training to underserved people in Orange County through its CalAim program.
Casa Teresa
For the third year, Oscar & Ma produced Casa Teresa's annual gala, Denim and Diamonds at Strawberry Farms. Casa Teresa is a home for pregnant women in crisis.
Hope4Kids
Oscar & Ma provides consulting services and program management help for Hope4Kids both in the US and in Africa. Hope4Kids provides adoption services to families.
The Hub Resource Center
Oscar & Ma began a collaboration with The Hub OC, and is now onsite at the Hub Resource Center in Orange, providing life-skill and job-skill training to unhoused and underserved people in Orange County.
Human Options
This is the second year that Oscar & Ma has managed production for Human Options' Fall Luncheon in October. Human Options empowers survivors and helps end the cycle of relationship violence in Orange County.
Ovios
Oscar & Ma provided consulting services for Ovios, a supplier of home furnishings worldwide.
Thomas House Family Shelter
This year, the partnership with Thomas House was two-fold. Oscar & Ma produced two events for Thomas House, their summer concert, “A Night in Paradise”, and their fall gala, “All That Jazz: A Roaring Celebration” in October.
In addition, Oscar & Ma hired 2 Thomas House clients into the Academy job training program. These Trainees will graduate in the spring of 2024.
Think Together
Oscar & Ma provided consulting services for Think Together, a nonprofit that provides nationally recognized after-school programs and other services.
Transportation Insight
Oscar & Ma produced Transportation Insight's Leadership Event in February in Atlanta, Georgia.
